It has been said that Amy Sherman-Palladino didn’t like the Return of Jezebel James trailer Fox did for the Television Critics Association press tour. Well, judge for yourself. (By the way, what’s with that Amy-Sherman-Palladino hat Coco’s wearing?)
Personally, I think the trailer is just fine. And if Amy doesn’t like it, that must mean the show is so much better. Indeed, I fully expect it to be so much better. Because it’s probably not about babies, cheap laughs, or surrogate motherhood. Rather, I think it’s going to be about the characters.

P.S. Yes, I’ve been a little lax about posting news, because as an independent consultant, I get to be a work-at-home Dad during the summer. That means I only get to work part-time, and watch the kids part-time, yet my clients still expect full-time output. However, things should get much better once the kids are back in school in another week.
